Experience

  • VP of Art, Co-founder at Burlingame Studios INC
    Burlingame, CA, US
    March 2021 - Present

As the VP of Art, I have built a team of stellar artists around the US and the Globe who deliver an enormous amount of top-quality artwork, providing the main revenue stream for our award-winning, Scopely-backed Game, Garden Joy. We create hundreds of new challenges and over 300, 3D models of plants and decor each month. With these as their building blocks, the players design the Garden of their dreams and always fi nd some new way to express themselves.

  • Art Director at Crowdstar / Glu Mobile,
    Burlingame - San Francisco, US
    April 2015 - March 2021

I was the head of the Art Team and an original Patent Holder for Design Home, our Award-winning Game. Our highly successful game resulted in the acquisition of Crowdstar by Glu and subsequently by EA for a $2.1 billion.

I was hired to develop and direct an art pipeline that can handle large amounts of 3D assets, in a photorealistic setting that will work on any mobile device. This began with visual development to hit the target on quality while still being technically feasible with our engineering team. After satisfying all stakeholders, I hired, staffed, and trained an internal team of artists, and created documentation for external vendors and internal art reviewers.

We launched and hit number 1 in the app store for free games in the fi rst weekend. It is a key part of EA and the anchor of their division for lifestyle games.
